Dana MacFarlane

Dana graduated from the University of Vancouver Island in 2023 with a Bachelor of Social Work. Originally from Mission BC, located on traditional Stó:lō territory, Dana moved to Victoria in 2012 to study herbal medicine at Pacific Rim College. She eventually transitioned into the area of social work, gaining experience supporting older-age populations in a variety of settings and working as a case manager for The Cridge Centre’s brain injury program. Most recently, she worked at the Esquimalt Urgent and Primary Care Center. Outside of work, Dana enjoys gardening, crafting, spending time with family, and relaxing with her cats. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with patients of the HCCT.
